Hope amidst chaos

The world is in chaos.

10,000 + COVID cases every single day.

67B deficiency in DOH funds.

Incompetent leaders.

Taliban taking over Afghanistan.

Natural disasters in Haiti.

Lost lives and livelihood due to COVID.

Among others.

How can you find peace amidst all this chaos?

Would we ever find peace?

Then I was reminded through a previous colleague. Through God’s word, we find clarity. We find the truth. We find peace. Yes, the chaos is still around us. The pandemic is far way behind before it’s over. But we can choose to focus on God’s words – that through obedience in God’s word, the mystery of God’s promise will be UNDERSTOOD and we shall remain in His love.

We choose where to focus our gaze. We focus on the children’s laugh and embrace for without them, our ears would be full of unnecessary noise. We focus on the gift of vaccines being developed and now being distributed for without these, how can we totally fight this pandemic? We focus on the medical heroes we have for without them, we’ll all be probably dead by now. We focus on God’s provisions and trust that He will provide for HE IS OUR ONLY HOPE.

Yes, it’s too tiring.

But HOPE is always there.

God is with us, always in ALL ways.
