I DIED IN MY DREAM LAST NIGHT

7:30 in the morning when I woke up with a big chill, heart racing, in sort of panic of what just happened.

My family and I were in a vacation in South Korea. We were in our hotel when we saw missiles coming down from North Korean planes. We immediately run towards the elevator. Upon reaching the ground floor of the hotel, everyone’s panicking. Then, a thick black smoke started coming up from the elevator concrete. We cannot inhale this because it was a sort of nuclear weapon. We all ran out of the building! Until I got lost of my family’s sight.

I kept on running alone, so fast there was no time to rest just to move out of that area. Then I finally realized I was in a safer zone now. I saw a bus station indicating where I am. “JURONG EAST” was the sign. I was suddenly in Singapore. I called up my parents to know their whereabouts. They were safe already. The bombings were done and they’re relaxing in a coffee shop. (Weird) I walked around Jurong East and met a Pinay who let me in her home. I thought I was safe already.

After a few minutes, there were planes again throwing missiles from a far. It came nearer their place. The missiles were hitting a lake just in front of her house!! We hid in a structured cabinet. Missile after missile were hitting the area. The last missile hit her house.

I WOKE UP BECAUSE OF A BIG CHILL. The kind of chill where your body literally shake; like you resurrected or something like that. I realized I died in my dreams. I prayed to calm myself. Stood up to process the dream. Then I researched its meaning.

Psychotherapist Jeffery Sumber says that dreams about death often indicate the symbolic ending of something, whether that's a phase, a job or a relationship. But, it does not, however, suggest that a person will actually die imminently.

To get even more specific, DreamMoods says:

To die in your dream symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or your life. You are undergoing a transitional phase and are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes do not necessarily imply a negative turn of events.”

The dream was so clear; I remember all the small detail of it except for the Pinay who let me in her home.

Maybe this is God telling me to brace myself for the big change coming into my life.

✅ INNER CHANGES

✅ TRANSFORMATION

✅ SELF-DISCOVERY

✅ POSITIVE DEVELOPMENT

That’s the thing with change, I guess. You will be scared. You will be hurt. You will fear for your life. You will be away from your family, your comfort zones. But, along the way you will meet people who will help you and push you to be the better version of yourself.
