I look back, 5 years ago, when I passed my CPA board exams. Short background, I wasn't supposed to take the exams anymore because I was already earning in my corporate job in a good healthcare institution in BGC. But what pushed me is the "challenge" of reviewing for this board exam.


𝑰 π’˜π’‚π’” 𝒖𝒑 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 π’„π’‰π’‚π’π’π’†π’π’ˆπ’†. I wasn't surprised, it was months of draining, if i may say brutal (HAHA!), feeling of every day reading and stuDYING different areas of accounting, taxation, and law. I was an average student back then, had few failed exams, had good grades nonetheless. I wasn't cumlaude-ish type. So imagine the struggle of reviewing, most of us went through that. Good thing I had great room mates who were my support as we all study for the exams. ❀️

Fast forward, results came in and an additional three letters were added to my name. That day was a glorifying moment. ❀️

But most people don't know that it took me 2 BOARD EXAMS before I finally got it. Yes, I FAILED MY FIRST TAKE AND I AM PROUD OF IT. My Gen Average was short of 2 points. Did I gave up? ALMOST BUT NO I DIDN'T. It pushed me further so for the second time, I took the exams. And thankfully, I DID IT.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓'𝐒 𝐌𝐘 ππŽπˆππ“? π–π‡π˜ π€πŒ 𝐈 π’π‡π€π‘πˆππ† π“π‡πˆπ’?

The day I passed my board exams, a lot sent their congratulatory messages. No words can describe how happy I was this day. πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰

But, can you imagine what I went through when I knew I didn't pass the 1st time I took it? I went through a period of depression & anxieties kicked in. But I can't stay at that feeling. 𝐈 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 π“πŽ 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐔𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐃 ππŽπ”ππ‚π„ ππ€π‚πŠ. I remembered why I started. I challenged myself, right?

π†π”π˜π’, 𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 π’π€πŒπ„ π€π†π€πˆπ.

What people don't see is your HEART ❀️, your DETERMINATION πŸ‘€, your HABITS πŸ—’, your SACRIFICES ⏳, your DISAPPOINTMENTS πŸ˜”, your FAILURES 🚫.

Failures do not define you. Your past does not define you. Get back up every time life hits you. YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR FEELINGS. AND NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE YOUR VALUE.

Success is just around the corner. Claim it! Never lose sight of your goals. I'm cheering for you! πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š
